  • Alfredo L. Escalera – Drafted by the Kansas City Royals as the youngest player ever drafted in the major league history.
  • L. J. Mazzilli – Drafted by the New York Mets in 2013
  • John Ryan Murphy – Drafted to the New York Yankees in round 2 of the 2009 MLB draft.
  • Tyler Pastornicky – Drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in 2008 and currently playing for the Atlanta Braves.
  • Chris Perez – Drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2008 and has been a two time All-Star in 2011 and 2012.

  • Pat Burrell – Two time World Series Champion and Golden Spikes award recipient.
  • Gary Sheffield – Nine time MLB All-Star, World Series Champion in 1997, five time Silver Slugger Award winner and 1992 Comeback Player of the Year.
  • Jamie Moyer – Selected to the All-Star team in 2003 in addition to receiving the Roberto Clemente and Lou Gehrig Awards.
  • Nomar Garciaparra – six time All-Star shortstop and has played for the Boston Red Sox, Oakland A’s, LA Dodgers and Chicago Cubs.
  • Adam Dunn – two-time MLB All-Star and has played with the Cincinnati Reds, Washington Nationals and Arizona Diamondbacks.
  • Mark Buehrle – part of the World Series champion team in 2005; in addition to being a four time All-Star and Gold Glove Award Winner.
  • Vernon Wells – three time MLB All-Star, three time Gold Glove Award recipient and Silver Slugger Award winner.
  • Kyle Kendrick – Pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies, won a World Series Championship with the organization in 2008.
  • Neil Walker – 2010 Baseball America’s All-Rookie Team.
  • Ian Desmond – 2012 MLB All-Star and Silver Slugger Award recipient.
  • Pedro Álvarez – 2010 National League Rookie of the Month for September and is the starting 3B for the Pirates.
  • Ryan Zimmerman – 2009 All-Star, Gold Glove Award recipient, and Lou Gehrig Memorial Award winner.
  • Joe Mauer – five time MLB All-Star, three time AL batting champion, three time Gold Glove award winner and four time Silver Slugger award winner.
  • Joey Votto – 2010 National League MVP Award, the National League Hank Aaron Award, and the Lou Marsh Trophy as Canada’s athlete of the year.
